The Shine Philosophy

Shine is based on tenants that guide the activities of student, instructors, and professional participants.

  • The onus is on the student to seek out the information he desires.
  • The duty of the instructor is to impart this knowledge unselfishly.
  • Musicians with extensive full time professional experience make the best mentors.
  • Artists and students strive to develop avenues of self expression.
  • Cultivating venues ensures a future for musicians.
  • Cultivating young talent unselfishly, secures the future of the local music scene.
  • Cooperation with other similar agencies and instructional institutions build a healthy musical environment.
